If we asked
Braden
(and if he could answer more than, "No, I don't like naps. No, I awake.")
I think he would say
life is too great to take naps
or
to be bothered with going to bed.
Or maybe he would say,
"If I'm supposed to stay in there then why isn't there buttons to push?"
This is the past month in a nutshell:
Crawls out of crib
Catapults unsuccessfully out of crib
Crib goes down
Won't stay in big bed
Up goes the Pack 'n Play
Crawls out of Pack 'n Play
He still
refuses naps
except once a week.
I've resorted
to letting him take anything he wants to bed.
Well, almost.
Just anything to keep him there
long enough
to get bored enough
to fall asleep.
